Devon Racqueteers provides year round coaching and social badminton sessions for those with physical disabilities at all levels of play.
Devon Racqueteers was established in 2008 and has been formally known as the Devon Racqueteers Wheelchair Badminton Club. The club has recently relaunched as a Para-Badminton club accessible for people with any type of physical disability.
The club has the aim of providing quality badminton coaching for those who come for fun and those who compete in local, national and international levels.
The club has coached 4 international players representing England and many more who have competed at national levels.
The club is lucky to have a highly qualified coaching team. 2 level 2 coaches and 6 level 1 coaches with more undertaking additional training. All coaches have a vast amount of knowledge about the sport and experience coaching people with disabilities.
In addition the club was elected 'Badminton Club of the Year' in 2014.
